Get Inspired

Here's eight spiritually-inspired spa treatments for healing, restoration and reinvigoration. They were initially used for treatment in dealing with panic attacks (thus the naming convention) to recover from fear, worry and anxiety. They have blossomed into centering and balancing treatments for mental fatigue, relaxation and mini mental & physical retreats.
The local spa treatments (for hands & feet) are taught in our spa workshops to show God's care for us in caring for ourselves (by handing it over, renewing our soul and laying out our all in the Son). God is the Healer of the Heart and the Perfecter of our faith. Through his guidance and care, we are equipped for our divine appointment to bear lasting fruit (fruits of the Spirit). I pray you find theses useful and of value for your spiritual physical awakening (spa) in devoting attention to yourself (day) time. Most can be accomplished in as little as 15-30 minutes with minimal effort. Enjoy!
Let’s face It!
“For if you listen to the word and don’t obey, it’s like glancing at your face in a mirror. You see yourself, walk away, and forget what you look like. But if you look carefully into the perfect law that sets you free, and if you do what it says and don’t forget what you’ve heard, then God will bless you for doing it.” James 1:23-25 NLT
This application is designed to remind us to face life with the hope, assurance and joy we have in Christ. Let’s face it --life comes with many challenges. How well we face them depends on our perspective but the best way to face it is with the abundant joy Christ meant for us to have (John 10:10).
Let’s face It is a three-phased approach to skin rejuvenation, mind renewal and spiritual refreshment. It’s quick, easy and a great way to purify, detoxify and soften.
Following are the facial supplies needed:
Renew
God didn’t promise we’d go through life without challenges. He promises to be with us whenever we face them.
Sweaty Facial Steam Formula
Sweating relieves pressure. Clogged pores need sweat to fully open. A clogged spirit needs sweating through surrender to fully open. The position of surrender is face down. When we surrender our all, the steam (driving force—power) of God is activated melting the pressures of life away. “If you abide in my Word, then you are truly disciples of mine, and you shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free.” John 8:31-32 NASB
Facial Misting Assurance Replenishing Toner
Be assured that whatever you’re facing right now it’s not too much for God to handle. You have his Word--the firming, strengthening and toning Word of God is powerful and affirming to renew our trust in Him. “I am assured and know that all things work together for the good to and for those who love the Lord.”
Facial Oil Spiritual Hydration Formula
Prayer hydrates a thirsty soul by moisturizing below the surface and penetrates to the deep areas of the heart softening and soothing. “Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” Romans 15:13 NASB
Strengthening Lip Gloss Formula
“Christ gives me the strength to face anything.” Philippians 4:13 The Promise
Our face tells the condition of the heart. Though we may be able to mask it with makeup, hairstyles or facial expressions, the underlying condition is seen all over our face! Emotional blemishes or a dry spirit show our mental condition. Our thought life becomes evident in the way we face things. Be aware that what we face in private will eventually come out into the open. A great way to rejuvenate the physical condition of our skin is thorough facial steams. Facial steams open pores and release toxins and impurities naturally thorough sweat. Essential oils, fresh or dried herbs add a therapeutic benefit by being vaporized and diffused in water to absorb into the skin. The inclusion of hydrogen peroxide oxygenates the water heightening the therapeutic benefit. This facial treatment can be done as often as twice a week if
desired.
